Terms of
Hire

Last updated: April 2026

By enquiring, booking, and/or purchasing through this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Hire ("the Contract"). Please read them carefully before proceeding with a booking.

Overview

This website is operated by Eden in the Wilde. Throughout this document, the terms "we", "us", "our", and "the Vendor" refer to Eden in the Wilde. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, and policies stated here.

By visiting our site and/or placing a booking with us, you engage in our services and agree to be bound by the following terms. These Terms of Hire apply to all users of the site, including without limitation those who are browsing, enquiring, or making a confirmed booking.

Please read these Terms of Hire carefully before making a booking. By confirming a booking with Eden in the Wilde, you agree to be bound by this Contract in its entirety. We reserve the right to update or replace any part of these Terms by posting changes to this page. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Important Disclaimer

By hiring our floral arrangements, you understand and accept that, though our florals are crafted to closely resemble and are named after real flowers, all arrangements are artificial (faux/realistic botanical). They are designed to replicate fresh flowers in appearance and are of the highest quality, but are not fresh florals.

Payment

We offer two payment options. In both cases, your booking is not confirmed until receipt of the initial payment and written confirmation from Eden in the Wilde.

Option 1 — Payment in Full

If you choose to pay in full at the time of booking, your ceremony date is immediately secured for the specific items in your order. If your event is fewer than 14 days away, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

Option 2 — Two Instalments

The first instalment is 30% of the total booking value. This is your non-refundable retainer and is due immediately upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance (70% of the total) is due no later than 30 days prior to your event date and will be invoiced accordingly.

If your event date is more than 6 months from the time of booking, you may request for your balance to be due 90 days before your event. Please contact us by email within 60 days of booking to arrange this.

You may make changes to your selected items up to 14 days before your event date, subject to availability at the time of request.

Retainer

Included within both payment options is a non-refundable, non-transferable retainer of 30% of the total booking value. The retainer is not an additional fee — it forms part of the total cost and is used solely to secure your ceremony date. This retainer is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation or rescheduling.

Cancellation Policy

Eden in the Wilde requires a minimum of 90 days' written notice to cancel a booking. The following applies:

  • Cancellation more than 90 days before the event: retainer is forfeited; no further charge applies.
  • Cancellation between 30 and 90 days before the event: 50% of the total booking value is due.
  • Cancellation fewer than 30 days before the event: 100% of the total booking value is payable.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to hello@edeninthewilde.com. We strongly recommend that all clients hold comprehensive wedding insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Rescheduling & Force Majeure

You may request to reschedule your original event date for any reason, up until 90 days before your original event date, subject to availability of the new requested date. If the new date is available, your retainer will be transferred free of charge. If the new date is unavailable, no refund will be issued.

In the event that this Contract is affected by circumstances entirely beyond the control of either party — including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic, government restriction, civil disorder, or terrorism — occurring within 90 days of your event, Eden in the Wilde will make every reasonable effort to transfer your retainer to a new available date. If no mutually suitable date is available, we will endeavour to reach a fair and respectful resolution.

Any costs already incurred for the original event date that cannot be credited or rescheduled will not be refunded.

Please note: delivery and installation timeframes agreed at the time of booking are indicative and subject to confirmation no later than 7 days before your event. We will always complete installation no later than 1 hour before your ceremony start time and will communicate final timings with you in advance.

Alterations to Your Order

Changes (additions, removals, or substitutions) to your confirmed order may be requested up to 14 days before your event date, subject to availability. A guaranteed minimum payment of 85% of the original order value applies regardless of any reductions made.

To request and receive approval for any alterations, please contact us by email at hello@edeninthewilde.com.

The client must not alter, adjust, or interfere with any hired items in any way. This includes, but is not limited to: adding fresh or faux flowers of your own, removing flowers, altering the shape or composition of any arrangement, or repositioning any installation. Damage fees will apply to any breach of this policy, and Eden in the Wilde reserves the right to charge for damages accordingly.

Delivery, Installation & Collection

Eden in the Wilde will arrange delivery, full on-site installation, and collection of all hired items. These services are included within the delivery, installation, and collection fee quoted at the time of booking. Final delivery and collection times will be confirmed no later than 7 days before your event, in coordination with your venue.

The client is responsible for ensuring venue access is available at all agreed times. Any delays or restrictions caused by the client or venue that result in additional time or cost may be charged to the client. A late collection fee may apply where venue or client restrictions prevent collection at the agreed time.

None of the hired items may be moved, transported, or relocated by any person other than Eden in the Wilde and its team. This includes coordinators, venue staff, family, and friends. Please ensure all relevant parties are informed that all florals and installations are hired items and will be collected by us.

Where a ceremony-to-reception transformation service has been purchased, our team will reposition and restyle the agreed florals during cocktail hour at the same venue address only. This service applies to items at the same location — we are unable to transport hired items between separate venues.

Integrity of Hired Items & Substitutions

All floral arrangements are created using premium quality realistic botanical florals, crafted to closely replicate the appearance of fresh flowers. All items remain the sole property of Eden in the Wilde at all times.

Eden in the Wilde reserves the right to make substitutions where a specific flower or item becomes unavailable due to damage upon previous return, supply issues, or any other reasonable circumstance. In all such cases, the integrity of the agreed colour scheme and aesthetic will be maintained, and flowers or items of equivalent quality and value will be used.

Please note that due to variations in screen and monitor settings, colours shown on images may appear slightly different in person. We make every effort to ensure accuracy in our photography and visual content.

All hired items may show minor natural wear consistent with regular professional use. By confirming your booking and accepting these terms, you acknowledge and accept this.

Damage & Loss

The client is responsible for all hired items from the time of delivery and installation through to collection by Eden in the Wilde. This responsibility applies regardless of the cause of damage, loss, or theft, and regardless of whether the damage was caused by the client, venue staff, or any third party present on the day.

In the event that any hired items are found to have been moved without permission, knocked over, broken, tampered with, or damaged upon our arrival or collection, the client will be liable for all associated repair or replacement costs, as determined solely by Eden in the Wilde.

In the event of damage beyond reasonable wear, loss, or non-return of any item, the client will be charged the full replacement cost of that item, as determined by Eden in the Wilde.

Candle & Open Flame Policy

Eden in the Wilde operates a strict policy regarding open flames near our hired florals. Candles enclosed within glass (such as hurricane vases or enclosed pillar candle holders), where the flame does not extend above the rim of the glass, may be used in the vicinity of our arrangements. No open, exposed flame may be placed near, beneath, or around any of our faux floral installations. Eden in the Wilde reserves the right to refuse or adjust the setup of any floral installation where an open flame presents a fire risk. We will be held entirely blameless for any damage arising from non-compliance with this policy, and associated damage fees will be charged to the client.

Availability & Our Right to Cancel

Eden in the Wilde reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time where we reasonably determine that the obligations of this Contract cannot be met by either party. In the event that we initiate a cancellation, a full refund will be issued minus any actual costs incurred up to that point, of which the client will be informed.

We also reserve the right to cancel or adjust an order after booking if: a date is no longer available; a specific product is no longer in our collection; the quantity ordered exceeds what is available; or a hired item becomes unavailable due to damage following a previous booking. In such cases, a suitable substitution or partial refund will be offered.

Venue & Site Requirements

It is the client's responsibility to confirm with their venue that there is sufficient space for all hired items, including safe clearance around arch installations, pillar arrangements, and aisle florals.

  • Outdoor installations: where arch or pillar structures are installed outdoors, securing cables or weighted bases may be required. A minimum of 2 feet of clearance in front and behind the arch is required at all times.
  • Indoor installations: a minimum of 4 feet in depth and 7 feet in length is required for safe arch installation.

No refunds will be issued where hired items cannot be installed or used due to venue restrictions or insufficient space not communicated to us in advance. Eden in the Wilde reserves the right to limit the placement of any hired item where safety cannot be assured due to limited space, uneven ground, or any other condition.

Eden in the Wilde is bound by the rules and guidelines of your venue. Any negotiation with venue officials regarding access or guidelines is the sole responsibility of the client.

Inclement Weather

For outdoor ceremonies, we aim to deliver and install as close to your guest arrival time as possible to minimise weather risk. However, this cannot always be guaranteed and earlier installation may be necessary.

Once our team has completed installation and left the venue, it is the client's responsibility to protect the hired florals from inclement weather. Our installations must not be exposed to rain, severe wind, hail, or snow. A dedicated contact (such as your wedding coordinator) should be assigned to reach us immediately in the event of unexpected weather.

If inclement weather is present at the time of our arrival, we reserve the right to delay or adjust the installation accordingly. We will work with your coordinator directly to find the best solution. Eden in the Wilde reserves the right to refuse installation where conditions are deemed unsafe.

No refunds will be issued for floral arrangements after delivery to the venue.

Liability

Eden in the Wilde holds public liability insurance. By confirming a booking and accepting these terms, the client agrees not to hold Eden in the Wilde, its founder, or any member of its team responsible for any damage to hired items caused by weather, third parties, venue staff, guests, or any other factor beyond our direct control following installation.

The client agrees to be mindful of all hired installations throughout the event, particularly where candles, open flames, or high foot traffic are involved.

If Eden in the Wilde is asked or required to move items not belonging to us (such as venue furniture or other decor) in order to carry out installation, the client agrees to hold Eden in the Wilde blameless for any resulting damage to those items.

Our total liability to the client in connection with this Contract shall not exceed the total value of the confirmed booking.

Photography & Media

The client agrees to allow Eden in the Wilde to use any images or recordings captured at the event (whether taken by us, your photographer, or shared by the client) for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and press features. If you wish to opt out of this, please notify us in writing prior to your event date.

General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person at any time and for any reason.

You agree not to reproduce, copy, or exploit any portion of our services, website content, or imagery without express written permission from Eden in the Wilde.

These Terms of Hire, together with any written booking confirmation and email correspondence with Eden in the Wilde, constitute the entire agreement between the client and Eden in the Wilde and supersede all prior communications, whether written or verbal.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms of Hire are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
